Welcome to Greenaleydis Tutorials
This is the page where the tutorials I have written are located! Please feel free to browse the tutorials I have available. The links to each tutorial are listed on the side of each page so you can quickly get from one tutorial to another; also, to access the other pages on the site, click on one of the links in the sidebar.
This page and its network are different from my other pages in order to help with readability, navigation, and printing. I hope everyone finds this layout helpful!
One rule - please do not copy these and put them on your site (linking people to them is preferable, obviously.) I spent quite a lot of time putting these together as well, and I would like it that my work not get stolen. So thank you. Other than that, have fun!
Bear with me a bit, as I am still updating some of the tutorials and links. I will be adding tutorials periodically, so make sure you check back!
History
I began writing tutorials after I began to really get into Photoshop. I knew that there were tutorials offered online for all sorts of things, but there were certain tutorials that I wish I'd had. I have tried to create these tutorials for others so that they will have a chance to create images like mine or use my techniques to produce similar results (though that is not always the best way to learn - through personal experience is. Figuring it out for oneself helps with developing a personal style.)
My first tutorials are simple - "Smoothing Out Skin" and "Adding Makeup" were my first ones. Hopefully in the future, I will provide more advanced tutorials that can show you how I create some of my artwork.
Currently
... I am writing a tutorial on using fractal stock images. I think that fractal art is beautiful, and I wish more people would use it in their artwork - it is one style of art that most surreal digital artists and photomanipulators forget about, although using it can produce great results.
