Welcome
Welcome to AmberLeeMuck.com! I am glad you decided to come here. Feel free to browse the pages I have available!

Here I am updating again:
- The resources page is now easier to read.
- I put a deviantART pastie on the deviantART page.
- The guestbook is now completely fixed... but I found out that you can't post links. I have code in there that blocks link postage. So... no links, guys.
I'll be putting a lot of photography up in a couple of days. Look forward to that.

I know that I said that I wouldn't be updating over my vacation, but since I have some time, I went ahead and updated.
- The new chains brushes now have a link. Go check them out.
- I updated my deviantart with the dedications for my contest winners.
- I updated the brushes page with brush ideas. Go check out what's coming.
That's about it for now. My vacation is going really well; I've gotten some great photos, and when I get back, I'll have some great brush sets coming. Look forward to that.

I am such an idiot. I thought yesterday was Father's Day. Silly me. Anyway, I have some exciting updates:
![]()
- New Brush Set - Chains Brushes I (because there are going to be more chains forthcoming.) Also, the Splotches will be coming when I get back from vacation.
- I fixed some broken links on the site.
- I've found a male celebrity to victimize - John Hensley. I am in the beginning stages of making a layout featuring him.
- "Thorned" is ready for coding. I don't think I'll be able to finish it, considering that the weekend is already here.
See you guys in a week!
June 12th, 2008
I added a new thumbnail of a layout in progress:
Also, I've stopped working on "Cherry Blossom" and moved the next version of my website layout back into Photoshop for some redesigning. I'm going to try to finish the above layout before this weekend starts.

My dad fixed the guestbook in Firefox, so the black should go all the way down to the bottom of the page now. Thank goodness, and thanks, Dad.
I will be very busy for the next couple weeks, so I don't know how much art I will get done... but I have a painting that I need to upload, so that might be coming soon.
- I'm working on a charcoal drawing of a resin doll, and when I finish it, I say, "Oh my god. his eye is WAY off center." I really don't want to fix it though because the eye is SO PERFECT... except that it is way off. So that drawing might be up soon.
- I'm visiting Buffalo, NY and then Jupiter, FL in the next week, so I'll hopefully have some new photography after that, and possibly some new brush set ideas.
- I'm gonna try to learn PHP this summer so I can (maybe) even start offering scripts on my website. That would be amazing.
- I'm thinking about adding a stock photo page to my website. What do you all think?
- I'm trying to become affiliates with all the sites I admire and visit from time to time... so if you are visiting because of that, thank you for any consideration, I really appreciate it.
That's about it. I'm trying to get my Livejournal going, so once I do that, I probably won't be posting journal entries here - but I will be posting updates. Look forward to that!

Today I added three pieces of art:

![]() |
- "Rooted" - It's not that good, especially for the kind of art piece that it is. It would be better without all the lines.
- "Earth" - Just me messing with brushes and colors.
- "Gentle" - I did some serious retouching on this photo. The original is horrific.
Other than that, school is almost over - two days left. That means that I will be able to spend more time doing other things, like working on the website. However, note that I will not be updating from June 14th to the 20th, as I will be on vacation. I will try to keep up with everything else, but I can't work on my website while I'm away.
Also, NEW AFFIE!!!
- Helene @ CryingForest
Thank you so much!

I added two new affiliates today! That makes me happy:
- Alyson @ Extreme
- Emu @ ChaoticVocality
Oh, this is so incredibly exciting. I've been feeling stressed out and depressed lately, but there is nothing like my website to cheer me up.
Also, I fixed my website in Firefox (somewhat... it doesn't look nearly as good... and the guestbook still isn't fixed...) so that the text fits properly. It has made me realize that I have been going by IE CSS from years ago, and never really knew the proper CSS for things. My dad says that I need to learn the differences so that things like that don't happen again. I'm working on it.

I just viewed my website in Firefox, and WOW. It looks AWFUL. I don't even know how to fix it! The content block is not holding all of the text, and the text is spilling over onto the background - it's just an absolute mess. The only page that looks any good is the tutorials page.
I'm going to try to fix that right now. Thanks to Tim for the tip-off.
Oooo, and I got my first affiliate! I am so excited. I actually gave a little disco inferno dance when I saw that he replied:
- Tim @ Chaotic
I can't wait to see if I'll get any more. Visit the Affiliates page!

Today is my dad's birthday and I made him a digital art piece based around his interests. In the middle it says, "47 years," and behind that, I have pictures of all the things that he likes, like programming, blues, Deep Purple, and Bruce Lee. I even photoshopped his face into some of the things.
I am so full I think I could explode any second - I had a 16 oz. steak and loads of sides - plus carrot cake and ice cream. Not to mention it is sweltering hot here now. But today was fun. I wonder what I'll make for Dad next year (another digital art piece like EVERY year.)
Big NEWS - I GOT THE HOST TODAY!!! That's exciting. I can't wait to start reading it. Not to mention some great Twilight goodies have come out recently; I'm so excited for the movie. Oh, and I got a new pencil/makeup/random case so I can stop destroying my old one.

I applied for affiliation to a couple places today - some of the websites I have been following for some time. SUCH INSPIRATION. I think that my website is finally at a point where I would want other artists like me to look at it, so my first thought was to contact the artists that I admire. I can't wait for responses (if I deserve any - who knows.)
Our area has FINALLY recovered somewhat from that massive power outage we had because of the thunderstorm. We had tornado warnings - it is really frightening to watch the tree next to your house bend to a 60 degree angle. We didn't have power for a day and a half, and our school was a mess - only a few outlets worked, there was no AC, no internet. Everyone was groaning about essays they couldn't retrieve off of their computers and electronic devices that couldn't be charged... I said, "Get over it," and called my stepmom using a land line phone. What would our generation do without technology? Oh, read, BLASPHEMY. So awful.
Well... not being able to charge my iPod got kind of boring, I must say - and I had to study at our public library because they had power... not to mention if the power had been out for much longer, everything in our fridge would have been vulnerable to spoilage. Leaving deviantART, Valcentica, my website, and LiveJournal untouched for even two days spelled disaster (which is really pathetic of me.) But hey - I don't have a cell phone, so I didn't miss that.
I'll stop being a hypocrite now.
Visitors
Older patrons - you might notice that I have removed a lot of the former pages. This is purely, to me, a step in the right direction. I know that my Inuyasha page was in high demand (for some reason) but unfortunately, it has gotten past the point of "old" and is now at "ancient." I've moved on from Inuyasha as well, so I am sorry about that. But some good things - I am now offering Photoshop brush sets. Make sure you check those out.
Also, new visitors - don't hesitate to leave me a message for any reason - criticism, affiliate request, layout request, tutorial request... even Photoshop brush requests. I can't make any time promises, but if it is urgent, please let me know. I am not charging for layouts right now, and won't be until I have some way to receive the cash. So feel free to ask for one, totally new or based off of a current layout. If you have any pictures, I would love to use those in a layout; make sure you outline exactly what you want, and I'll try to deliver.

Also, thank you to all of my favorite websites for the inspiration - your artwork is wonderful and you all continue to be an inspiration to me.
